Hampshire Constabulary
Hampshire Constabulary is reminding residents to ensure their homes are kept secure as the warmer weather approaches.

At this time of year there are more opportunities for potential burglars as windows and doors are left open for ventilation.

Windows and exterior doors should be closed and secured in unattended rooms, especially if residents are outside in their gardens enjoying the sunshine.

Homeowners should also ensure valuables and expensive electrical items are not on view near windows, on display to thieves.

For further advice homeowners should contact their local Crime Prevention Officer on 0845 045 45 45.
