Bin Collection:
This takes place each Wednesday and bins need to be put out by you in front of your property. There is a fortnightly recycling service. There are glass recycling bins at the ‘Ship Inn’ and by the garages in Beech Grove.
Milk Delivery:
This occurs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and is made by Dairy Crest, Winchester.
Post Office:
The village has no shop but there is a Post Office service at the Village Hall each Monday and Thursday morning from 9am until 1pm. Our postmaster is Mr Richard Sellars.
Shops:
The nearest general stores for the village are at Upham and Twyford. The nearest supermarkets are Tesco’s at Winnal, Sainsburys at Badgers Farm and Waitrose at Chandlers Ford.
Church:
St Andrew’s Church, Owslebury and Morestead Church are part of the United Benefice of Twyford, Owslebury, Morestead and Colden Common. Please see Local Churches
The village has a Newsletter which is published and delivered fortnightly. This gives news of village happenings.
Bus Service:
There is a limited bus service from the village to Winchester. It caters for secondary age children going to school in Winchester as well as full fare paying passengers. A timetable is available at the Post Office in the Parish Hall
Owslebury and Morestead Community Association (OMCA)
The committee of this organisation was set up to represent and coordinate all village areas and other organisations with them.
