Three Bells in a bell tower
Church bells
Owslebury bellringers meet at 7.30pm on Monday evenings for practice throughout the month, with the exception of the 2nd Monday when we join forces with Old Alresford and ring there.

We also ring for weddings and other special occasions at St Andrews, Owslebury.

We are currently ringing for Sunday morning services on 2nd and 4th Sundays from 10.30am to 10.58am.

The bells are a ring of 6, with the heaviest, biggest and loudest weighing in at 9cwt and 1lb (458kgs) and it was cast in 1619AD.

We are a friendly bunch and welcome anyone that might like to give bellringing a try.

We are a good cross section of society ranging from a bricklayer to a retired Army Major.

It’s good fun, a bit challenging and a good way to burn off a few extra calories.
