At Cabinet meetings, public participation is limited to items on the agenda and will be taken when the appropriate item is discussed. For Planning Development Control Committee, there is a special procedure for members of the public to speak on individual applications. Further details can be detained from the Public Speaking Co-ordinated in the Planning Department on (01962) 848 339.
For Winchester Town Forum, the procedure for Public Participation will be at the discretion of the Chairman.
For all other meetings the public participation session will last for 15 minutes. You are advised to arrive no later than 10 minutes before the commencement of the meeting.
Less time permits, questions and statements will be restricted to 3 minutes each.
There are also limitations relating to questions about current applications, personal cases are confidential matters. Further details can be obtained from the appropriate Committee Administrator.
Please note that copies of agendas and reports are available for inspection and/or purchase 5 days before the meeting from City Offices, Colebrook Street, Winchester.
